What the Archaeological Area contains is truly something incredible that has nothing to envy of the other best-known archaeological areas of Sicily.

You will find the perfectly intact remains of the Gymnasium or Basilica, of the agglomeration and of the urban layout, of the subsequent Roman Villas, the City Walls, the Antiquarium rich in precious archaeological finds.

Finally the beautiful Greek Theater with a spectacular view of the sea, the which still hosts theatrical performances, concerts and events of all kinds.
